Jack Russell RCA

Subwoofer Audio Interconnect

Connect amplifiers, receivers, soundbars, and AVRs to subwoofers with a purpose-built RCA cable designed for clean, reliable signal transfer. Jack Russell features Solid Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors to reduce distortion caused by grain boundaries, Foamed-Polyethylene insulation to maintain dynamic contrast, and a Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation system that helps dissipate and drain high-frequency noise away from the signal path.

The result is more naturally beautiful and detailed music, more intelligible dialogue, and thrilling sound effects for home theater and music systems.

Description

Purpose-Built for Clean, Low-Distortion Signal Transfer
The AudioQuest Jack Russell RCA Subwoofer Cable is designed to deliver clean, clear, naturally beautiful and detailed sound by controlling distortion and managing radio-frequency noise at every stage of the signal path. From conductor design to termination, each element works together to preserve signal integrity between your amplifier, receiver, soundbar, or AVR and subwoofer.

Solid Long-Grain Copper (LGC) Conductors
Solid conductors eliminate strand interaction, a common source of distortion in conventional cables. High-purity Long-Grain Copper (LGC) reduces distortion caused by grain boundaries and provides a smoother, more linear signal path. The superior surface quality of LGC also supports effective RF Noise-Dissipation, helping prevent high-frequency noise from interfering with low-frequency performance.

Foamed-Polyethylene (FPE) Insulation
Many solid insulating materials absorb and release energy, which can blur detail and dynamics. Foamed-Polyethylene contains a high percentage of air, minimizing energy absorption and reducing the “out-of-focus” effect common to higher-loss materials. The result is better preservation of dynamic contrast and low-frequency clarity.

Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation
Traditional shielding often drains captured RF energy directly to ground, which can modulate the system’s reference ground plane. AudioQuest’s Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation system “shields the shield,” absorbing and reflecting much of this interference before it reaches the ground connection. By reducing RF contamination at the reference plane, Jack Russell helps maintain cleaner signal transfer and more stable performance.

Cold-Welded, Gold-Plated Terminations
Instead of solder, which can introduce distortion, Jack Russell uses a high-pressure cold-weld process for a direct metal-to-metal connection. Gold-plated plugs resist corrosion and provide long-term reliability. The ground shells are stamped rather than machined, allowing the use of metals selected for low distortion rather than machinability.

Direction-Controlled Conductors
All drawn metal conductors exhibit directional grain structure. AudioQuest controls this characteristic to ensure induced noise is properly dissipated and drained away from sensitive circuitry. Each cable is marked for correct signal direction to optimize noise management.

Ideal For:
• Home theater subwoofer connections
• Two-channel music systems
• AV receivers and integrated amplifiers
• Powered subwoofers and LFE connections

Jack Russell is engineered to reduce distortion and manage noise so your system can deliver naturally beautiful sound, intelligible dialogue, and dynamic low-frequency impact.

  • Solid Long-Grain Copper (LGC) Conductors prevent strand interaction, a major source of distortion.
  • Foamed-Polyethylene (FPE) Insulation reduces smearing and preserves dynamics.
  • Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation reduces RF noise on the critical “reference” ground plane, enabling cleaner, clearer, more naturally dynamic sound.
  • Cold-Welded, Gold-Plated Terminations afford a secure connection devoid of solder, which is a common source of distortion.
  • Direction-Controlled Conductors assure induced noise is dissipated and drained properly.
