Though AudioQuest was founded and maintains its corporate headquarters in California, we also have a large facility in Roosendaal, a beautiful city in the southern Netherlands.
The video at the bottom of this page documents a recent tour hosted by AudioQuest's Global Sales Director, Adam Shaw-Cotterill; Asia-Pacific Business Development Manager, Robert Wong; and South Korean distributor, Royco.
As you'll see, the Roosendaal facility is home to a warehouse closely modeled after the one in California. In fact, the two are nearly mirror images of one another — just one of the ways we've streamlined global operations to serve customers around the world.
At around the 3:15 mark in the video, Robert Wong introduces our guests to Thijs Helwegen, long-time AQ Sales Manager for Central Germany and resident disc jockey extraordinaire, who plays a few tracks on the office system before handing the mic over to Adam.
Adam then takes our guests through Order Entry, Production, Quality Control, and the warehouse, including a look at a specialized cable-cooking device that treats our most sophisticated cables to a process we call Permanent Molecular Optimization.
The video ends with an over-the-shoulder look at a couple cables being assembled, followed by a quick peek into the Roosendaal theater.
Narrated by Royco's Ji-yoon Jung, the video's opening and closing comments are delivered in Korean. If you don't understand Korean but you're curious about what Ji-yoon Jung has to say, we've translated her opening comments below. Otherwise, you might skip ahead to 3:15 and meet up with Thijs.
If you’re an audiophile, it’s a given that you would invest a lot in amps, speakers, turntables, and similar audio systems, but behind these glamorous audio systems is a product that works quietly but diligently in the shadows. And that product is the cable...
The brand we are introducing today is AudioQuest, a high-end cable brand from the US. This is a company whose products are well-loved and widely used by many, so their performance is already proven. But I'd like to show you how these products are made and why they are called "high-end."
AudioQuest's headquarters are in the US, with factories and warehouses in the Netherlands and Hong Kong, enabling them to provide high-level service with quick responses.
Let's go to the AudioQuest factory in Europe!
