The high-performance audio industry often asks itself, "How can we attract a younger, more diverse audience," but too rarely reaches meaningful or actionable conclusions.
Occasionally, however, we do find examples of truly complementary relationships — sustainable, real-world intersections between music lovers and audiophiles.
Such is the case with Montreal's beloved record shop, Cheap Thrills, and AudioQuest dealer Layton Audio.
SoundStage Network's Doug Schneider explores this important relationship in a recent video, concluding: "Hi-fi stores and record stores are just as important as they ever were, but I think more have to find a way to work together."
