With its 20-amp (RMS) maximum current capacity and 45-amp (peak, up to 25ms) Transient Power Correction and current reservoir, the PQ-909 delivers the uncompressed transient current necessary for all home theaters and audio systems.
Wide-bandwidth differential and common-mode filtering contribute to an ultra-low noise floor and deep, black backgrounds. Twelve component-optimized hospital-grade outlets (4 High/Variable-Current for amps; 8 Linear-Filtered/Constant-Current for Sources and TVs) provide performance, versatility, and flexibility.
And, of course, to complement its remarkable performance, the PQ-909 provides robust protection features: Extreme Voltage Shutdown and Non-Sacrificial Surge Protection, the latter capable of withstanding repeated 6000V/3000A surges — the maximum that can pass through a building’s AC electrical panel.
